To ensure the continued working quality and reliability of fixed fire hose reels, it is imperative that these fire hose reels are serviced and maintained to ensure the correct flow rates are achievable. Furthermore, any damaged or corroded parts of the hose reel that could potentially affect its functionality are repaired or replaced in compliance with AS 1851-2012 section 9, to provide a safe working environment.
